- Meet a group of like minded friends at the Oddfellows' Hall at 7.30pm
- Tear up multicoloured sheets of paper into small pieces and place in a bowl
- Add water, prod and stir the soggy mess
- Chat, smile and be generally sociable
- With an old blender, mush the mixture
- Use someone who's remembered his or her glasses to add water to the 500ml mark
- Close the lid and switch on - or scrape the resulting goo from faces and walls
- Ensure the demonstrator doesn't break said blender
- If she does, remove shoes and socks and trample the mixture
- Laugh hysterically and proceed
- Iron a J cloth - other brands are available - and place on newspaper
- Capture your sludge in a deckle
- Tip it out on the J cloth and leave to dry
