Jude Hall's Master Class in Hand-Made Paper Making

posted 5 Mar 2010 13:01 by web admin
  1. Meet a group of like minded friends at the Oddfellows' Hall at 7.30pm
  2. Tear up multicoloured sheets of paper into small pieces and place in a bowl
  3. Add water, prod and stir the soggy mess
  4. Chat, smile and be generally sociable
  5. With an old blender, mush the mixture
  6. Use someone who's remembered his or her glasses to add water to the 500ml mark
  7. Close the lid and switch on - or scrape the resulting goo from faces and walls
  8. Ensure the demonstrator doesn't break said blender
  9. If she does, remove shoes and socks and trample the mixture
  10. Laugh hysterically and proceed
  11. Iron a J cloth - other brands are available - and place on newspaper
  12. Capture your sludge in a deckle
  13. Tip it out on the J cloth and leave to dry
Voila!
